Class 1: Overview of Dante’s Cosmos and Spiritual Stagnation that can only be resolved through our relationship with the Holy Trinity and the pathway that Mary helps provide

Dante’s Divine Comedy, published between the years 1314 and 1321, is enjoying its septuacentennial anniversary providing a richness in our Catholic faith through a spirituality that is grounded in our Marian devotion. This course will provide an overview of the Comedy, demonstrating the influence our Blessed Mother has as co-redemptrix.

Dr. Sebastian Mahfood, OP, is a Lay Dominican of the Queen of the Holy Rosary chapter in the Province of St. Albert the Great and serves as Professor of Intercultural Studies and Vice-President at Holy Apostles College & Seminary in Cromwell, CT. He lives in St. Louis with his wife, Dr. Stephanie Mahfood, and children, Alexander and Eva Ruth.
