Can virtue be taught? That famous question from 5th century BC looms gigantic again in the 21st century of the Christian era.
Virtues In the Modern Age
In medieval times, everyone knew the seven virtues. Nowadays it is rare to find a university student who can name them all.
The aim of this course is to help in the restoration of moral habits among the rising generation. Virtue signifies moral goodness; the practice of moral duties and the conformity of one’s life to the moral law; uprightness; rectitude. Join Fr. Hoesing as he provides a road map of virtue, a map for our earthly pilgrimage.
The course uses the text Peter Kreeft’s, “Back to Virtue”.
In This Episode
Father Hoesing shares the context of the virtues, God’s invitation to share in His own blessed live, and the importance of beginning a discussion on virtue with how much God loves us.
