In this edition of the Theology on Tap Podcast, Dr. John Finley will focus on the distinctiveness of friendship compared with other forms of human love.
He will discuss friendship among and between the sexes, and will address the unique challenges to friendship in our current age through the lens of the ancient Greek words for love. Carrying the argument forward, he will share with us how human friendships prepare us for a deeper relationship with God.
Dr. John Finley is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. Originally from California, Dr. Finley received his PhD from the University of Dallas with a focus on human anthropology in the works of St. Thomas Aquinas. Dr. Finley is married with three children.
