Ignatian Young Adults

Who We Are

We, the Ignatian Young Adults of St. Francis Xavier College Church, form a welcoming community for young adults within our parish. We seek formation within the spiritual tradition of St. Ignatius, seek to encounter people who are on the margins of our society, and foster a sense of love, peace and dialogue within our community and our parish.

What we are up to:

We host a regular event “Tap Into Faith” which features a guest speaker who allows us to reflect on various topics within theology and spirituality. We meet at Urban Chestnut (by Grand Center) about once a month in their back room. Past topics have included: unaccompanied minors from Central America, ethical policing, the seven deadly sins, racial justice and the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the Synod on the Family, and centering prayer.

In addition to these events, we also hold reflection evenings in Advent and Lent, as well as participating in other events held within the Parish.
